Seekonk police officers collect pajamas for children and teens

As part of an initiative to help children and teens, officers from the Seekonk Police Department were at Target collecting pajamas.

The pajama drive supports the Boston Bruins and other organizations in Massachusetts.

All the pajamas collected will be going to children living in low-income and homeless situations.

Organizers say the support and generosity of community donations has been overwhelming.

Seekonk Police set an initial goal of 300 pairs of new pajamas. They have collected over 250 pairs as of Friday afternoon.
